不过给大家分享一下可能大家都知道的鬼子的录取程序吧

Dear Mr. Liu,

Thanks for your message.
I thought that I had mentioned January,
not December.

In late January, the applicant s files must
be complete; incomplete files are not processed
due to College--not departmental---regulations
that all departments must follow.

The incoming applications are processed by an
office that receives many, many pieces of paper
from all over.  They get payed to handle graduate
applications.  Faculty must teach and do other tasks.
That office first opens a very large pile of
envelopes, then they collect things in an
organized manner (collect the GRE scores,
TOEFL scores, application materials, all letters
of recommendation, etc.) and file these in their
respective folders.  This process is typically
completed in late January, not in December.
