东西太多了,太长了,估计看起来也眼晕,还是分成2截吧. 
承上: 
dirt: extremely bad person. 
"My ex-boyfriend was dirt." 
jerk: stupid or annoying person. 
"How could you go out with such a jerk?" 
Ex-boyfriend是前男友.Ex-girlfriend是前女友. 
经常简说成Ex,反正是前任的意思了. 
在网络上就看到有人说My Ex如何如何,或者I miss my Ex, I found she/he 
is the best person I have ever met. ..etc. 
经常会这么用 you dirt! you jerk! 

dirty: offensive; pornographic. 
"Stop looking at the pictures in that dirty magazine!" 
horny [possibly offensive]: sexually stimulated; in the mood for sex. 
"Red wine seems to make my boyfriend horny. " 
谁在网上贴黄色东西或者网上的黄色广告,大多被人说too dirty or too horny. 


dude: a male. 
"That s really cool, dude!" 
这个dude听到频率相当高.凡是男的,叫他dude绝对没问题. 

eyepopper: something or someone visibly astounding. 
"Wow, that girl is truly an eyepopper!" 
knockout: beautiful woman; handsome man. 
"Benjamin is already a knockout!" 
形容PPMM很好用啊. 

fab: fabulous. 
"Dave s ESL Cafe is really fab!" 
It s Fabulous,也很常用. 

fart [offensive]: to expel intestinal gas. 
"It s embarrassing to fart on the first date." 
自己查字典去吧,如果不明白的话.:P 

fender-bender: small accident. 
"This morning I had a fender-bender on the Ventura Freeway." 

flick: movie. 
flick: movie. 
"Let s go out tonight and watch a flick." 

freebie: something that does not cost money. 
"My trip to New York was a freebie." 

French kiss [possibly offensive]: kissing with the tongue. 
"Dave s dog is always trying to French kiss him!" 

geek: someone who works too hard, is more intelligent than usual, and is 
slightly unattractive. 
"Bill Gates is kind of a geek." 
电视上常看到,查不到什么意思,现在才明白.而且竟然发现这个例句,难道Bill 
Gates是unattractive in US?d 

go bananas: go slightly mad. 
"This project is causing me to go bananas!" 

gomer: a dumb person. 
"Stop acting like a gomer!" 
goof (1): a silly and foolish person. 
"What a goof you are!" 


goofy: silly. 
"Kids always make me feel goofy!" 
跟airhead也差不多了. 

grand: one thousand dollars. 
"He s making over a hundred grand a year!" 
这个常听到哦,上次看电视一个人在节目中获奖 4 grand,一大把的绿钞, 
其实也就是 4 thousands. 

head: toilet. 
"I really need to use the head!" 
john: toilet. 
"Where s the john?" 
pot (1): toilet. 
"Who s on the pot?" 
这虽然我少听到,不过最多还是restroom,记得第一次听restroom是国际 
会议,一个女的问where is the restroom,好象听说还闹了笑话,很多人 
不知道restroom是什么意思,以为是这人想找个地方休息休息,当时问 
的地点是lobby,所以有人回答说:you can do it here. oops,把这女的 
搞懵了...这里的oops,很常用,不小心弄掉东西,可以叫oops,很多时候 
都可以用.美国人还喜欢说Gosh,跟my God一样的.911的录像里就有人 
看到对面的大楼着火,叫道: Oh, My God, oh My God! 

hooker [possibly offensive]: prostitute. 
"You ll find a lot of hookers in the red light district." 
其实在节目中听到的用whore的比较多,或者slut,记得看到一个节目, 
是一个5个孩子的妈妈说她最近很喜欢出去找不同的男人,然后观众 
就对着她叫 Mama-whore. 

hot (1): popular. 
"Brad Pitt is really hot now." 
hot (2): sexy. 
"Wow! Cindy Crawford is really hot!" 

I m outta here: I m leaving; I m departing. 
"Sorry, but I m outta here, dude." 
和outta类似的很多,比如gotta=have got to 
wanna=want to,歌词里好象更常见,反正也是很常用了. 

loser: a bungling and worthless person. 
"Why are you dating such a loser?" 
这个loser常用于说男的,要是真说谁是loser,这个人会很没面子的. 
反正是很伤男人自尊心的一个单词,要慎用,明白什么意思就好了.:) 


pee: to urinate. 
"I always have to pee after drinking beer." 
piss: to urinate. 
"My dog pissed on me!" 
相对来说,听到pee的时候更多些,电影里一句台词就是: she is nervous, 
so she has to pee.一个女的去上厕所,她的好朋友这么说她,看样子是 
互相很了解的说.:) 
别忘记另外一个意思: 
pissed (off): angry; upset. 
"I m really pissed (off) at you." 

pickled: drunk. 
"He got pickled on vodka." 
plastered: drunk. 
"Why does he always get plastered?" 
stoned (out): drunk from drugs or alcohol. 
"I m really stoned (out), dude!" 
美国的alcoholist生活差不多就是天天pickled or plastered. 

pad: someone s home. 
"Can I sleep at your pad tonight?" 


poop, the (1): knowledge; information. 
"What s the poop on Michael Jackson?" 
poop [offensive] (2): defecation; shit. 
"Be careful not to step on dog poop." 
这个和shit, crap一样的意思. 

pro: someone who s good at something; professional. 
"She s really a pro at golf." 
por-and-con 或者pros and cons,意思是正反两方面. 
Mit BBs上曾经有人讨论说,自己来美国3个月了,才知道pros and cons 
的意思,很丢人,英语进步慢什么的,有人马上就问什么意思啊,我也不 
知道,而且我在美国呆了3年了.更丢人什么的.... 

runs, the: diarrhea. 
"Oh no! I ve got the runs!" 
拉肚子这单词还是要知道的,diarrhea我听到更多,有个专门治diarrhea 
的药的广告,所以如果不知道这单词,就很难听懂了. 
这单词我是从Angie(一个在厦门的美国女孩)那学的,我们烧烤,聊起来 
如果东西没烤好就吃,很可能回去就diarrhea了. 

suck: to be bad and unacceptable. 
"That song really sucks!" 
这个非常无比的常见啊,骂人的时候就说U sucks,或者说什么不好, 
比如说食堂不好,可以说 that sucks. 

tints: sunglasses. 
"You have to wear tints in California." 
shades, specs 也都是太阳镜的意思. 

turn-off: something that repulses a person. 
"Bad breath is a real turn-off." 
还有 turn-on,看电视上blind-date,还有 elimidate,elimidate是5个 
人,4男1女,或者4女1男,约会,最后由唯一的female/male从4人中选自己喜欢 
的一个人.比如有个男的喜欢dancing,所以他对会跳舞的女孩,会turn-on, 
觉得比较attractive,讨厌挑剔的女孩,所以就会turn-off. 
电视上介绍blind-date的男女两人时,通常也介绍对什么turn-on对什么 
turn-off,有时只介绍turn-on. 

wimpy: weak. 
"Don t be so wimpy!" 

winks, get some: sleep. 
"I really need to get some winks" 

wrongo: wrong. 
"That is totally wrongo!" 
还常听到Bingo!好象是非常棒的意思.这个不确定,反正知道是好的方面 
的意思.:) 

zit: pimple; acne. 
"Teens often have a lot of zits." 
脸上总长小豆豆,就用pimple,我觉得这个比较常用.来美国的这几个月里, 
至少3/4时间都在狂长pimple,现在终于适应了,不知道别人有没有类似 
经历. 

后注:我删了一些我觉得比较少见的,如果以后我遇到了什么常用句子和 
表达方法,我会补充的,目前用记录了一些在电视上看到的有用的句子, 
不多,等积累起来再与大家见面吧.slang这课over now. see you guys.
