lish ability instead of the other ability because all the chinese students can d
o very well here, but it s difficult for them to the TA job well. In the private
 schools, the college students have a lot complaint on the foreign TAs, because 
they pay a lot and expect to get good instruction.  The schools have to pay more
 attention on the English ability if you want to get TA. Of course, if you can g
et the RA from the professors or get fellowship, I think any points in G or T is
 enough. Do you hear G <1900 and T<580 coming to the Top 10. It should be RA ins
tead of TA.

It s usual. You can contact the professor since this time. I think you can get a
 RA. Dont  worry too much about G and T. 4 monthes for G 2 monthes for T is enou
gh. The more time you spend on these, the less you can get from these tests.
